The 420 offers a large selection of filters and lamps allowing optimization for fluorescent compounds across a broad range of applications. The Waters 420 detector has a range of 325nm to 425nm, but has the capability of operating from 254nm to 450nm (excitation) or 375nm to 530nm (emission), depending on which filters are used.
